1983Establishment of KCP International Language Institute.
1987
  • The school was introduced on a Korean newspaper “Touitsu Nippou.”
  • The school was also introduced by NHK TV program “Keizai Weekly.”
1988
  • The school got an official approval from the Tokyo immigration bureau, which is under the Ministry of Justice, to accept the first pre-college student.
  • The school was introduced on an English magazine “Student Times.”
1989
  • Establishment of KCP-Korea
  • KCP Group joined a foreign pre-college student acceptance committee.
  • KCP Group got approved from the Association of Promotion of Japanese Language Education. (This information was officially announced by an official journal.)
1991
  • KCP published “Nihongo kiso-mondaishu No.6” (publication by Senmon Kyouiku Shuppan).
  • Japan Fuji International School, the sister school of KCP International Language Institute, opened.
1993 Japan Fuji International School moved its campus from Akabane to Shinjuku.
1995
  • Establishment of KCP-USA.
  • Establishment of partnership with Seisen Joshi Daigaku’s teaching practice program.
1996 Start of the U.S. university-accredited program, with Western Washington University the first accrediting sponsor university.
1997 Affiliated with University of Idaho as one of the accrediting sponsor universities in the U.S. university-accredited program.
1998
  • Affiliated with Lincoln University as one of the accrediting sponsor universities in the U.S. university-accredited program.
  • Started a teaching exercise course for Japanese language teachers (until year 2000).
1999 KCP published “1 nichi 15 hun no kanji renshucho” : Jo, Ge 2 types (publication by ALC).
2000
  • Establishment of KCP-China.
  • KCP sent a cultural mission to the University of Idaho and Lincoln University, which KCP has been affiliated with as accrediting sponsor universities.
  • Established partnership with Toyo Daigaku’s teaching practice program.
  • Started a teaching practice course for Japanese language teachers.
